I guess if Madonna can do it, so can Alice/ I certainly hope this doesn't stay in the set. I would also like to see Brown Sugar dumped as well.

Well I can't say I'm stoked about the two covers. I really hope he atleast drops one of them for the Maiden tour, especially since he will probably only get around 45-60 mins opening. Stoked about Caffeine though, always thought it would be a killer addition to the show.

Glad to see Caffeine in the set for sure. Hopefully the set will evolve a little bit as has happened in the past.
I certainly don't think "Born This Way" is a great way to win over the Maiden crowd.

Re: Anyone know the new setlist ?
Well, everytime I wondered if a particular out of character "break" in the list would be odd I was always pleasantly surprised when seeing it live. I was initially wary about "I never Cry" with the nurse costume and hanging, but eventually it was very powerful. So wait and see.
Though not a Gaga fan as such I think she has some real talent. There is a big similarity with Alice, in that her antics detract from the music when you don't pay attention. I can see how Born This Way could be a good choice for Alice. Don't forget that he is very good at appropriating song

Many thanks for posting setlist, have to agree about the inclusion of 2 covers when so many more tracks could of been used, saying that the gaga cover does work if you watch the footage posted on youtube.
It must be true A_Michael said so

Watched the youtube vid of the Gaga cover and it sucks. All the songs he has in his catalouge and we do this ?? Hope he ditches it before he hooks up with Maiden because those fans are serious metal fans. Those "inside" jokes tend not to go over to well outside of your click.

While I wish the 2 covers were either more Nightmare 2 songs or some other Cooper rarities I have to say I've always liked his brown sugar cover and just watched the born this way song and I loved it!!! Hey Alice has been in the biz for over 40 years he can do whatever he wants lol

I too would rather hear a couple others from his extensive body of work.
Surprisingly, I enjoyed Born This Way more than some of the other covers he's done.

I think the cover of Born This Way is fantastic. I love it. I wouldn't do it as part of a 50 min Iron Maiden support slot. Maiden fans might not 'get it' but I am going to see Alice in Knoxville for his headlining gig and will be disappointed if he doesn't play it.

From the USA Today article:

I'm listening to it right now and as I expected I quite like it. Typical Cooper humour

"Born This Way" at the very end of the set is is kinda funny and a bit interesting... and it'll shock some, so go for it.
However, I still don't get "Brown Sugar" in the middle of the set, though maybe you have to see the show to 'get it'?
That said, Alice is usually 'in character' until the encores so at first glance this seems really out of place.

Because:Jumping Jack wrote:Born This Way
Why isn't he playing his own new album instead of Gaga's?
A) its not the new album tour
B) he has a sense of humor
C) he likes to shock and surprise his audience. Look like its worked like a dream.
