Did anyone catch the Hallowe'en Fright Night gig on SKY Arts?
No, I missed it too, but I've just 'acquired' a DVD of the programme. Full uninterrupted gig; no adverts; quality, professional camerawork.

Great addition to my collection!!

it didn't have adverts anyways, but as someone said, the one i taped on Hallowe'en didn't seem to have the best sound quality (i'm still using VHS tapes but since someone else mentioned it i'll assume it wasn't just my old tapes) ~ take it your version is better.

To be frank I was relegated to watching the DVD on my poxy little tv in the bedroom last night. It might sound worse on the BIG telly in the front room.

Just a short review of this programme, stunning absolutely stunning.
I've watched it through twice now and it is awe inspiring in every possible way. We did'nt make it to this show but all I can say is that the 3D extravaganza must be the next best thing.
Mind blowing only goes half way to describe the quality of this production.
A must must see I say in all honesty.

If Montreux and TOD DVDs were A grade performances, this ranks a C grade at best. The show simply does not rock, the set list is weak, the props are recycled or just lame, and the playing is mediocre at best. The band lacks cohesion, energy, and enthusiasm. Tired, boring and just going through the motions.

Don`t watch it again then. At least now you know you don`t like this band line up and don`t have to bother going to see a show.

Alice? I felt that as well. It took a while for him to warm up but he was on top form by the end.

I don't think that's who robcam was referring to.

I agree, Alice Cooper is one of the worst musicians ever in the history of the universe. His band is horrible, especially that old chubby guitarist. What kind of name is "Alice" for a man anyway? He can't carry a tune and is in horrible shape, and his show is boring. Also, the NY Dolls who opened the show are not living history. And London is a terrible place to be a tourist.
