Alice seemed to have a little extra spring in his step this evening. At least that's what I noticed from the front. He was hamming it up for the near capacity crowd, reminding the audience that he's from Detroit. He did some sweet Jagger dancing moves during I'll Bite Your Face Off.
He wore a Detroit Tigers Baseball Jersey during School's Out and a Detroit Lions Football Jersey during Elected.
BTW - It was also Damon Johnson's last night on the tour. So he took a few pies to the face from the band.

Good set list..I read somewhere that there was near 15,000 there..is that correct (and was it just AC with Ace Frehley support-gr8 crowd if it was)..looked at news page but tour dates updated so can't look back

My friend, who is an account for the venue, told me this morning that the show was Sold Out (15,000+) by the time Alice came on!

fantastic..was that because it was detroit and with ace as well?..in past I think I have seen figures a few thousand or so for Alice in US-obviously confident of filling this venue

It sure doesn’t hurt when tickets are $39 & $29 for pavilion & $10 for lawn either.

good marketing/pricing I'd say in a recession and a new album coming out-leaves a few dollars in the pockets of 15,000 fans to buy Welcome2- as an ex marketer makes sense to me

I agree. If half the crowd buys a shirt at $35 a pop it's better than $80 a ticket & getting 5000 people there. The more thru the door means more souveneirs sold.
