Alice and Van Halen teaming up for an arena tour of Australia, pretty interesting stuff.

Looking at the gaps between dates can definatly expect Alice to add some dates of his own.

hoping he makes his way to New Zealand again, but will be heading over to Australia to see the Coop once again

cant wait

So have all the Aussies (and possible New Zealand travellers) got their tickets for Soundwave yet? Got mine last Thursday at the pre-sale. Word is the Melbourne gig is selling well. Location for Melbourne gig is a real pain in the ass though...

I would hope this is a good opportunity for Dave and Alice to do an interview for the radio show possibly. They certainly are two of rock's greatest front men.

I've been a Van Halen fan for a long time, if you told me 20 years ago that I'd be catching Alice and Van Halen on the same gig I wouldn't have believed it.

I vaguely remember that as having already happened, but I'm not sure.

The way the Good Ship Van Halen operates these days, I wouldn't necessarily believe it until the curtain rises and, as DLR often loves to say, you see it in front of your naked steaming eyes.

I think outdoor venues can have an impact on alloted times if there are noise ordinances in the area.

September can;t come quickly enough. Besides my main man alice being there with his best sounding band in ages, ill get my van hallen fill and will hopefully take a squizz at bad religion, danzig and steel panther (always good for a laugh) throughout the day. i just gotta be mindful about getting the best position i can for alice,

Soundwave Revolution has been canceled.

According to posts on Alice's FB page, the plan is that Alice will still do the booked sideshows and possibly others....
