It's been reported over on KISSFaq.com that Ace Frehley will be opening for Alice at the 8/27 DTE Energy Music Theatre show. No source on that report, however.

If so, that's amazing... two of my very favorite artists on one night!

Anyone know if this is verified... that Ace is opening... and also if Ace is with Alice for more than just this show?

I think that would be a great pairing for a tour.

Yes you are correct, but it wasn't mentioned that Ace Frehley would be playing as special guest which was the reason I posted.

this is a full circle moment-back in '87,ace was supposed to play along with faster pussycat but ended up getting scratched on the cleveland date!!

I saw KISS there... and I liked it... for a larger pavilion, it has an intimate feel up front.

Sorry guys, didn't see this earlier. Password is Nightmare. Don't get your hopes up for great seats. I was on right at 10:00 & ended up with row Y. I think they're holding some back or something.

Does anyone really know what these shows are going to consist of? Are they going to be regular Theatre of Death shows or something different?

No one knows yet. It's being billed as the No More Mr. Nice Guy tour, but exactly what the show will be is unknown (and will be until the May 12 show).

Got in right away but best I could do was 12 rows back on the left side so I passed.

Maybe something on Ebay will show up later, if not I'll do some other show. I just can't justify a 5 hour drive for something less than great seats.

As usual, I have more trouble getting great seats in these bigger venues than I do in small to mid-size venues. Go figure.

My boyfriend and I got row MM in the center...so not that great of seats. But being there is still going to be fun. Maybe better seats will show up and we can sell these someway.

I got HH on Wednesday & thought maybe better ones would show up today but no dice. I don't know where all the good seats went for this show. DTE has summer season ticket holders but there's no way there are that many.
