My guess is its just going to the the old tour finishing up all the regular spots they didn't hit last year. Did you happen to catch the date for the Hamilton show,I'm assuming it was for Hamilton Place??

Yes, I've just heard on the radio about Alice Cooper playing my hometown here in Ottawa on May 16th.

I too was surprised to hear them bill it as "The No More Mr. Nice Guy" tour. I immediately thought, "Is this a new setlist or Theatre Of Death show?" Either way, it doesn't matter to me.

I suppose it's like in the late '70's. The tour for L&W was called the "King Of The Silver Screen" tour during 1977 and in 1978, when he resumed the second leg of the tour (after the hospital stay) it was called 'School's Out For Summer". Same setlist though! The ad I heard never mentioned the opening act.

Exactly.

Well if this is more or less the Theater of Death tour, then I hope he at least changes the setlist somewhat, perhaps with rare songs thrown in to make it a little different (would love to see some RYFAY...will continue to ask for that until I die!!)

Wonder if that will be the fall tour for the states or will it segue into the Nightmare 2 tour?

The intention is that will be the new show but the cities to be visited during that period have not yet been decided on.

Haha me to, it's my favorite album. I doubt he will play anything on this tour but perhaps on the Nightmare 2 tour ?

What happened to the rumored dates with the remaining original members about this time in Toronto and a few other cities?

I think they should do a full tour eventually. It's too much of a big deal for a handfull of shows

I'm not so sure it would make financial sense.... it may be a bigger deal to die-hard fans of AC and the ACG, however i can't imagine this would really pull a big crowd of casual fans.

I understand this, but then again often when a tour is billed as a "reunion tour", it brings out not only the diehards but also a larger segment of casual fans who want to see something "special". For that reason, I imagine promoters would be more than happy to book an Alice Cooper reunion tour.

Still, maybe it makes sense to go with a limited tour of cities as initially mentioned and add more if demand is high.

And I think that the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame counts as a huge promotor for those shows too! I guess people would love to see who that ACG really is (for those who do not know it yet) , now their inducted.

Alice would probably take the biggest hit since they would have to split the earnings evenly. However, that might be why Alice suggested doing a few of the larger markets.

Well, technically they don't *have* to split the earnings evenly.

After all, KISS certainly didn't when they reunited. Ace and Peter got a flat fee.
