Mohegan Sun, CT: AC + RZ

Post by BellaDonna » Tue Oct 05, 2010 2:28 am

Looks like I'm being gifted w/ two comp tickets from a friend...so I guess I'm going! Yay!

Concern: the floor is gen admission. Does anyone know if the comp seats are GA? Only concerned 'cuz my kid want's to accompany me.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

The venue or the promoter might be able to help.

I thank you both: I was planning on having the 'giftor' contact the casino to inquire as to those details. I figured I'd try here first, though: if anyone here had any info that didn't work for me, I'd just tell her to forget it and save herself the time and effort....

Will have her check! Thanks again to you both! :)

Much Well,

No. You're better off going directly to the venue as each one may have a different policy. It's unlikely that anyone here (even me) is going to know the policy of every single venue that is being used.

It also depends where she got the comp tickets from. With a show that has GA AND reserved for the same price (I don't know if it is or not, but this Friday's show has no ticket price difference), radio stations and such may end up with either type of ticket to give away.

I agree. There's different factors that can be involved which no - one here is going to know anything about.

Thanks again! The comp seats come from the Casino itself. My friend checked it out further: and comp seats are assigned - no GA for these - and tix need to be picked up THAT DAY. No age limit: as long as the minor is accompanied by one adult. So far, so good: now, if 4 women can make it to CT and back once and 1 woman can do it TWICE - IN ONE DAY...it'll all work out! We'll see!

Thanks again!

Well, three women made 250 miles in one day to pick up tickets, and ONE woman made 500 miles in one day to see Alice!!! Yep, folks...I MADE IT!!! * SMILE!

Tickets were balcony seats...been a LONG time since I had balcony seats for Alice: since 1986 in fact!!! Show was great, though when your not in the first 10 rows...it's like watching the show through a window..you're there but it's a 'movie'... I've always thought that. No biggie. His show was GREAT! LOVED IT! *SMILE!

Though this is an Alice Forum, it's only proper to give credit to the other half of the "Halloween Hootnanny"! Rob Zombie was OUTSTANDING! Stage presentation was wonderful: he got offstage w/ a high powered flashlight and went onto the floor to shine it on peeps everywhere! The crowd was wild the whole time. Good props, great fog, pyrotechs, props, monsters....: outstanding! *smile!!! (don't go beating me up for my opinion..ok? I enjoyed it all!) Rob learned very well from his "shock rock Daddy"!!! LOL!

Missed the MurderDolls due to traffic on a Friday Nite...nothing to say: I Missed them.

Halloween Hootnanny Rocked! Happy to have been there for it!

Much Well,

BD

 Glad to hear you made it and had a great time! I saw him Thursday but we weren't able to stay for Zombie. I had been looking forward to it as I had never seen him before. Nice to hear he was outstanding as well! As for the Murderdolls, imo, you didn't miss much. I know many like them, but I just didn't enjoy them very much.

I've never been to Mohegan Sun; nice theater??

And, if all shows ran like the one I went to did, you LITERALLY didn't miss much. Their set BARELY made 20 minutes in Bloomington!

Murderdolls played exactly 35 minutes when I saw them.

I agree, though, you didn't miss much.

Glad you had a good time, and 500 miles? Wow.

The theatre at Mohegan is really nice and far larger than one would expect to see at a casino... pretty large!

Yeah, 500 mi: we went there and back to MA to get the tix, then there and back to see the show....in one day... ahhhh...the things I've done for an Alice show! lol!

Hey, at least you didn't have to find your hotel room after... I have fond memories of the two of us in VA...

Glad the two of you had fun.. Wish the family a happy halloween for me. xx

Funny story, J: we went to Mohegan to get the tix and finally passed a white BMW twice... I looked at Holly, she looked at me..we said, "Hey, Toni..I think we're going in circles!!!" We were.

THEN, when we got there to see the show, there's only ONE entrance through which an under 21 can enter. Do ya THINK we could FIND IT??? No.

Same thing: got lost TWICE before the show! LOL! Yes, FOND memories of VA...that and Poughkeepsie... And yes..."Feed My Frankenstein" brought me to tears of laughter! LOL!

Much Well and Happy Halloween! :)
