There haven't been any "press releases".

Just a first impression based on the little bit I have seen is that it seems to convey the feeling and intimacy of a theater show pretty well, has some nice camera angles, and doesn't hop around too quickly. I am very excited about seeing the Bluray with the surround system cranked up!

True, but due in part to the way show is designed with lighting on Coop and the "story" much of the time, not the musicians. The guitarists have less eye contact and crowd interaction this time around than previous tours.

Gorey, I'm really sorry to read about your accident! Sounds nasty! I hope you'll heal quickly now.

How long after the release of the DVD is it going to be, before we start getting all the moaning posts/threads?

- There were only 4 executions, and not 5
- Where was the cyclops
etc!

Amazon has the Theatre of Death Blu-ray available for pre-order.

I'm just glad they are releasing a DVD from this tour. Of the 51 AC shows I've been to since 1986, I feel that the "Theater Of Death" Tour is one of the best!

Now if someone would uncover a video of complete footage from the "King Of The Silver Screen" show, I could die a happy man. Ha Ha!

I'm curious to see how Bigger Picture markets this. Hoping it will be some indicator as to what we can expect for W2MN.

I'm wondering why this is STILL not listed on AmazonUK for pre-order except as a US BlueRay import :s

I work in a record store and our distributors only list it as a Blu Ray.

I think what Si is getting at is that it's a little irritating that there's still no UK pre-order date. Obviously a US import disc would be little use to many people over here due to region coding, regardless of whether it's Blu-Ray or "normal" DVD.

To be honest i would expect a better dvd cover for this one(talkin about the photo on the cover)..The show has so many amazing costumes..and they could pick a perfect-powerful pic.Not an "ACASy" one !

I love the cover...since I love ACAS and I wanted more of a presence of the album in this tour...the spider outfit he wears during Vengeance is Mine is just one of the most amazing things I've seen Alice wear and that is saying a lot considering how many awesome costumes he has had over the years...

i wanted to put a live photo on the cover, but i was over-ruled. the front cover is the same photo used for the tour poster ad mat, so they went with it to be consistent. i think the whole 'acas' thing is done with and i would rather see tod photos. i fought. i lost.
