Re: nottingham december 4th
Another great concert from Alice and the band.
Quite an intimate venue, with the stage was not too far away even if you were at the back.
For those of you who weren't there, the 'high stair' Alice sings from was brought to the front of the stage for 'Vengeance', rather than at the back and to the side as it was at Newcastle City Hall.
Also Phil Collen came and played with the band for the encore of 'Schools Out'.
Good to put some faces to names as I met a few from this board.
After the gig went to a rock pub around the corner from the venue and saw a very loud Motorhead tribute band called Motorkill. Great set, great pub. Left about 2 am. All in all a had great time in Nottingham.

That pub was the Tap & Tumbler.
I also had a fantastic night. Fourth time I've seen Alice and loved every one, but last night's was probably the best.

Nottingham was a good one - leaning on the stage is always a bonus (when I say 'leaning on the stage' I mean in an unobtrusive way, of course).

Leaning on the stage rules.

Re: nottingham december 4th
Seriously? Worse than some of the idots there were in London? Must have been bad
Leaning on the stage at a Coop show is one of my biggest dreams. I can't complain of course but this would be the ultimate for me. My best chance would have been Montreux but people were too well behaved
Ah well, at least I got to do that with Tom Jones last month, that was also very, very cool!

Security had words with him 3 or 4 times, think it was because he was putting his hand on the stage set where the band sometimes stood and also remember he touched one of the guitarists, (Not sure who) on the leg.

Re: nottingham december 4th
Fortunately I was standing over to his left and couldn't really see him, he does appear to be a total arse though! What an awesome show, I really enjoyed Nottingham and it was great chatting to a few sickies in the bar across the road before the show. I lost count of how many double vodkas sparky knocked back before the night was over!
Got a synthetic face, got some scars and a brace...

Better than that - at one point he had a good steady hold of Alice's ankle. It was Keri's guitar that he was mauling at.kevinuk81 wrote:Security had words with him 3 or 4 times, think it was because he was putting his hand on the stage set where the band sometimes stood and also remember he touched one of the guitarists, (Not sure who) on the leg.

He seemed a tad enthusiastic, more than you even Sparky.

Was that you Jaded, trying to "get hold" of the rope of the guillotine?

No problem at all. I wasn't looking for an apology - I was just endorsing what you wrote.
