I hope it's not always bad behaviour to touch an artist...gently  I mean? I did that for Steve Lukather who obviously liked it as he came back to us after the episode shown here (at about 5:30) ... I really wanted to touch such a great guitarist, first the leg, and then the guitar, couldnt help, he was so within an easy reach :p It looks as if I'm pushing him but I didnt for sure ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J26DffPurx0

I don't know if touching was the problem in this case - this fellow was leaning on the structure that contained the footlights which meant he could have prevented alice and the band from standing on it (as they like to do). What if Alice did not notice what this idiot was doing and stood on the idiot's arm causing him (Alice) to lose his footing, for example?

It's all mostly a matter of common sense as are many things.

TuiiYa, it's pretty obvious that you're not meaning any harm there. And you're a pretty young girl not a drunken moronic guy

Steve is a great guitarist by the way, I've seen him once solo and once with Toto, had a blast.

Yeah...to be honest I knew what I was doing ;) as I'm a rather mature person...judged by my age...while I think age is just a number. But now I'm off to my hairdresser to get ready for Alice's show & MG tonight...and I'm anxious like a teenager  this is weird.

Nothing weird about that my dear. It's called fandom ;)
I've always been more mature than my age, so it is said but when it comes to Alice I turn into a teenager too!
It's healthy to let yourself go a bit crazy sometimes.
Have fun tonight!!

Think that's me in the corner of that video behind the mad woman intent on Chuck

Great show, despite said drunken idiot.

I am trying to figure this out. Was there so much space left that you could walk around? There's one guy walking through the people to get the idiot to stop his antics.

I love how the drunken guy is all over the stage when you are supposed to watch and listen but when you are supposed to cheer and scream (after the blade goes down) he kind of looks bored? ::((:

Who's the poor girl next to the guy, just to the right of Jaded? I would have asked for a refund if I was her (only joking) or maybe I would have asked Pat to put the drunk in the guillotine instead of Alice?

That guy was a right pain.

Did notice Keri Kelli try and have a bit of a word with him and Alice did give him a shove with the crutch at one point when he had his ankle. And still he persisted.

Oh, and that girl was actually with this guy. And didn't do anything to sort him out. Hahah.

However, the show was killer!!

Gack! I still say that they should have packed him in the iron maiden or something, enough devices to get rid of trouble makers

But I bet it was a great show, being so close must be quite an experience.

Anything that would influence you possibly being removed from the venue (touching an artist or part of the stage set...etc) is not worth doing to begin with. I've seen some artists stop a show and wait for security to remove the person responsible for such an action. I understand the excitement of being close to an artist or whatever, but when it "could" get you booted from the show... restraint is a dish best served with your hands at your side. ;)
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...

Wonder what Axl would have done if someone had touched his ankle?

That happened to Alice on the "Brutal Planet" tour, if I'm not mistaken.
