Alice Cooper rocked Dallas last night
I saw Alice at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas last night Lilian Axe opened up and they were good. Alice was in fine form and there was a good size crowd not sold out but packed, I wonder with U2 being in town the same night it hurt ticket sales a little for Alice here is the set list
School's Out (part only) / Department of Youth / Eighteen / Wicked Young Man / Ballad of Dwight Fry / Go To Hell / Guilty / Welcome To My Nightmare / Cold Ethyl / Poison / The Awakening / From The Inside (w/ extended instrumental) / Nurse Rozetta / Is It My Body / Be My Lover / Only Women Bleed / I Never Cry / The Black Widow (Instrumental) / Vengeance Is Mine / Devil's Food / Dirty Diamonds / Billion Dollar Babies / Killer / I Love The Dead (excerpt) / No More Mr. Nice Guy / Under My Wheels / Encore School's Out
I have to say Alice's band is freakin awesome! Jimmy DeGrassio is monster drummer.

Glad you had a good time. My hubby really enjoyed Jimmy on drums. And I agree, the band is just awesome!RisingForce73 wrote:I have to say Alice's band is freakin awesome! Jimmy DeGrassio is monster drummer.

I really like what Jimmy brings to the table behind the skins.

Yes...Alice Rocked Dallas last night.
It was great. The guys were right on the whole show. I really enjoy watching Damon,Chuck and Keri together. And when Alice introduced the guys and said Jimmy was from Dallas the crowd was very pleased.
Turned out the ballroom is actually part of Gilley's of Dallas...not to be confused with Gilley's in Houston. (Urban Cowboy)..LOL. But it was a giant Texas size bar. It wasnt sold out because you could still buy tickets at the front door. It was not crowded..so very nice.
We had a good time and my husband enjoyed it. (Not a Cooper fan). But the set list worked really good for the casual fan. It was standing room only on the dance floor...we never sat down.We could see good from the 6th row and I tried to get to the front but Rambo kept putting me in my place. The barrier was just a low rail so they didnt let anyone crowd the front. I really wanted a dirty diamond necklass, just couldnt get there.
Yes there were cowboy hats in the house and someone threw one up to Chuck. I got to say...he looks good in a cowboy hat. I dont have a camera..but I wish I did at that time. Maybe one will pop up and I will find it.
I went to get a t-shirt and wanted a hoodie...but they didnt have them there. So I got a "Love It To Death" jersey and a "Theater Of Death" t-shirt. I was very pleased with the tour shirt.
I had a great time...and loved every minute of it !

I was really impressed with Jimmy Degrasso on the drums. He is a power house of a player. When I saw him at Foxwoods, he had a grin on his face the whole time. You could tell he was loving his job.
