**** SPOILER ALERT**** do not read if you do not want to know about the new Theatre of Death show ********

Just got back from the first Theatre of Death show at the Horseshoe Casino in Elizabeth, Indiana.

Here's the setlist in order:

Yes, he opened the show with "School's Out" and closed the show with "School's Out". The intro version was probably about 2/3 of the song as Alice often does with the first song.

There just so much to comment on, I doubt I can even do it justice... but needless to say Alice does get "killed" in the show no less than 5 times in show:

guillotine
gallows
giant hypodermic
a device that puts spikes through him

Alice gets killed by guillotine at the end of "The Ballad of Dwight Fry" (with a maroon colored straight jacket)... screaming "I gotta get out of here" until the blade drops... afterwards they don't wheel it away, rather he gets up and picks up his own head... then sings "Go To Hell" but changes to the lyrics "I have gone to hell" throughout.

At one point in the show, Alice is wheeled out in a wheel chair by "Nurse Rozetta" for the song of the same name... he's wearing an insane asylum outfit that says "Renfield Nelson Asylum" in big letters on it's chest. I took that as a tribute to Renfield in the show. Pretty cool.

Other things worth mentioning:

- big a-l-i-c-e letters hang from the lighting trusses througout the stage.

- The crutch is made out of bones.

- He kills a stagehand with the mic stand through the body trick.

- He sings "I Never Cry" while hooked up to the gallows, before Calico kicks out the garbage can from beneath him at the end.

- He strangles Nurse Rozetta with her own stocking after she strips behind a curtain during "Is It My Body"... you can see her undress through the shadow screen. He puts one stocking over his head and then goes behind the curtain with the other and you see it done in shadow. Cool!

I was surprised to see only one song from "Along Came A Spider" in the show. I guess this show is not really supporting the album.

There is much more to mention but I can't remember everything right now... definitely a lot of cool new custom made props in the show... the guillotine looks brand new as does the other devices. I took some pics and so did my buddies so if some turned out I'll try to get them to Si.

That's it for now... I'll add more if I remember it... I'm sure others can add quite a bit.

As for what I could add...I loved when he did Vengeance is Mine (still can't believe that was the only ACAS song) but they wheel out this huge elevated stairs with Alice at the top with an awesome Spider jacket but he actually had 3 Spider legs on each side of his body (his own 2 arms count as the other 2)...it was an incredible jacket...I want one really bad...he stabbed the guy with the microphone stand during Wicked Young Man...very cool...

Nurse Rozetta and some other minions come out with this insanely oversized giant needle and impales Alice right into his crotch...at least that is what it looked like to me...that was done at the end of Poison...nice touch

Oh and Alice's patient uniform, the back read "Patient # 1111" which if people remember, is what Vincent Price names him to be during the Madhouse Rock tour...

The band had some new risers near the drums they could stand on. There was also something at the front of the stage that had the spider weapon symbol thing on it.

Kerri got caught on the webbing of the giant C letter during the show and a stagehand had to free him.

Also during "Vengeanc is Mine", Alice climbed up on a giant wheeled ladder... the type you might see at Home Depot... but decorated pretty cool.. so he sang the song from way up high with a spider jacket with legs under each arm.
