Re: House Of Fire Live in Cyprus!!
House Of Fire is a great tune.
If I may ask... in this vid, the jersey Keri's wearing... is that a Friday the 13th/Jason Voorhees jersey? I ask only because I "think" I saw a Coop jersey-style shirt at the swag table last tour, but I don't remember it being white or looking like this?
Oh, and thanks for posting the link to the youtube vid, miki.

yeah, it is. hence the #18 on the back. and the hocky mask logo on the front is the same design as on their shot glass here:

alice has had a couple different hockey jerseys. i think there was a purple one and a yellow one on the dragontown tours.

I think we need to cut some people some slack and be a little reasonable here please.mattcoddington wrote:what a bunch of sheep (the poster of the video and some of the people commenting on it.) alice has performed the song in 96 ad 04. they need new calculators.
In review, SickthingsUK's setlist section does not mention "House of Fire" for either the 1996 or 2004 Tours. At a glance over it does have "House of Fire" last listed in 1990. Do you have the dates and venues it was played on the tours you mentioned? If you have info, I'm sure Si would like to add it.
Otherwise you can't really blame anyone saying that it hasn't been played in 19 years as even doing research here would come up with it not being played since 1990 or so. Of course, I'm sure the older setlists here run the risk of being incomplete at certain dates, but that it is not the fault of those making that statement. Therefore, they are simply going off the most available and the most accurate information possible at their disposal.

>That's Desmond Child for you... I think those are the only words he's able to rhyme.
It might have been Joan Jett that wrote those lyrics, but I'm not sure.

Sometimes, seats are empty because they were never put on sale to start with. I'm not saying that's the case here, just that it can be and has been, the case.

Only half of Alberta's Red Deer and Lethbridge Centriums (both are hockey facilities) were placed on sale last year. It made the attendance look packed down front, but rows of empty seats could be seen on both sides of the floor and further up.A_MichaelUK wrote:>Looked like a lot of empty seats in Cyprus. As you may know, sometimes those seats are hidden by a big curtain

Yes, in Red Deer they did just that at the top tier.

Re: House Of Fire Live in Cyprus!!
Yeah, they do that here too, cover the top tier of seats with a black curtain. Makes the venue look more intimate.
...And personally, I don't care.

I like Damon's harmonies on that clip.

Yes. Not my favorite song necessarily, but I would like to see it live. And the clip intrigued me, for some reason.
Thanks, Miki
Will you be attending any of the upcoming midwest shows, NSP?

Wausau and South Bend.
I would have LOVED to have gone to the Davenport show, too. And I WOULD have....if my brother hadn't picked that day to get married! LOL Can't quite justify missing THAT for a Coop show.
