Alice in Hamilton

Post by glamprincess » Mon Oct 20, 2008 1:55 pm

I saw Alice's show in Hamilton last week. My husband and I took our teenage son to his very first Alice show and his very first rock concert! We also took along a very close friend who's wife was babysitting our daughter. I was very excited that my son was going to his very first rock concert and there's no one better than Alice to welcome him to the world of rock n roll!
My first Alice show was Welcome to My Nightmare back in 1975 when I was still a little girl. I'd like to say that that was my first rock show too, but actually my first rock concert was David Cassidy and Alice Cooper was my second rock concert. Yes....I went from the Partridge Family....to Alice Cooper!
I am still amazed at Alice's energy level. He could put a lot of thirty year old rockers to shame. The show was great and the venue looked sold out.

Ain't nothin' wrong with the Partridge Family.

Glad you experienced your son's first concert (and a Coop one!) with him.

Thanks Scotty and Shoey!
I agree, there isn't anything wrong with the Partridge Family. I still know all the words to "I think I love you"!

Thanks Gorey! It was fun to see my son at his first Alice show when I was even younger than him when I went to my first Alice show.

Maurice: Impressive yes, but can you sing a line from "I woke up in love this morning"? :rotfl:

What?!? That's the same as telling people to go to Taco Bell for fine Mexican food. Simply put, David Cassidy is NOT Mexican.

But glad to hear you guys had a good time.

Thanks WYM.
Actually, I think I heard that David Cassidy's real name is Juan Cassididas.....
It could have been worse....at least my first rock concert wasn't the Osmonds...
