Alice Cooper Moncton, Oct. 19th

Post by Ain't Talkin' Bout' Love » Sat Oct 18, 2008 6:22 pm

Hey all,

Gonna be my second time seeing Alice tomorrow night (first was on the DD tour, 7th row, Saint John). I'm second row center this time, and I'll be meeting Eric Singer at a record expo beforehand. Any ideas what the setlist will be, has he dropped it's hot tonight, cause it's getting cold around here! I'll post a full report after the show. I seen a setlist from the summer, just wondering what as changed.

Have a great time at the show.

If you're planning to see Eric go well before the time the store says he'll be there. He also did not have a limit on what he'd sign, at least when we saw him anyway, so bring lots of stuff.
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...

I am going to that show too! Only 25 and a half hours to go!
I am extremely excited because I've been a huge fan since I was around 10(some 17 years ago), my first album I've ever bought was hey stupid on cassette! Hehe
Anyway, this will be my first time seeing him live. So I cannot wait.

thanks! I am rather fond of my name too.
I am like a kid before Christmas.... I even went and bought a new memory card for my digital camera so I could take enough pictures and bought like 4 packs of batteries to make sure I dont run out. Oh and I borrowed mascaras from a friend of mine so I can wear make up to go. AHAH

Me too. I was limping on one side due to the packs of batteries in my right pocket.

BTW... I don't remember seeing you in Return Of The Jedi. Given your name, however, I assume your part was cut out.

Yeah they cut off my part.... Apparently an ewok humping R2-D2 was not appropriate for the movie. Stupid Hollywood politics!

right now, I am filming the wall.... Just to see how long I can last with a pack of rechargeable batteries. I am at over an hour so battery wise I will be fine.

Speaking of that, quick question, while I do intend of taking mostly pictures, I would really like to film Dwight Fry if he plays it(I havent checked the setlist or anything.... I dont want to be spoiled). My digital camera is just a 4.1 megapixel with a 4X zoom and I am close enough of the stage but not THAT close so if I film, it will be low enough quality that it cant possibly count as a bootleg. So my question(and now that I am typing it, it doesnt sound like a quick question anymore. AHAH) is, what's the etiquette on filming part of the show? Would it be ok?

Simply put. No. Alice Cooper doesn't allow filming or taping.
It's bootlegging regardless of if you do the whole show or not. Illegal as well.

Still photographs are fine (non-professional gear) though as long as the venue us okay with it, Alice is happy for you to take as many still pics as you want.

Yeah I will take a bunch of pictures!
Everytime I have gone to a show at the venue, they've never checked for cameras or anything so I should be fine.
Less than 21 hours to go!!

Best thing to do is ask about still-photos when you get to the show. Red Deer and Lethbridge banned all personal cameras, while the other theater shows allowed the still ones only.

I am like a kid on Christmas morning right now. AHAH

There was about 5 or 6 different shirts when I was in Vegas. No hoodies that I can recall but there was also a shot glass, keyring, stickers in among the small stuff. Here's some of the shirts that were available (merch pics from Fanfire.com):

Sorry for yet another message... Just wondering... Do you guys know if there were kid's shirts too? I want to get one for my nephew. He's like 20 months old now and I think he would look sweet with an Alice Cooper t-shirt!

I don't recall any, but then again I wasn't looking for any either. I don't think so though. I think there are some youth sized shirts available on Fanfire but even those are probably too big for a nearly-two-year old. Get him one to grow into!

I could do that but I figured it would be nice to get him to wear the shirt and pant his face! Not that his mom would let me though.... AHAH
Man I am starting to get really antsy... I cannot wait for the show!
