The younger girl was Chuck's daughter. I didn't see any posters or owt for the shows, never mind the new album.

And I can't answer your third question lol, what fight in the balcony?

Everyone down the front at Southampton was fine until two 40 + women who really should of known better came charging trying to claw there way on to the barrier.I did get hold of the 1 trying to claw my face & said that if she didn't get off me i was going to (a bunch of rude words) punch her face in & i'm a really unviolent person!

I really hate it when you queue up all day & then half way through the show these people think it's their right to come charging from the back attacking you in the process. If it's so important to them why don't they queue earlier??

Southampton balcony fight!

Post by peskysnake » Sun Jul 27, 2008 9:54 pm

I don't know what the fight was about in the balcony at Southampton but I saw it and it was scary.
Two men were arguing and next thing one of them just freaked out and started throwing punches. Then he was like the "Hulk" and ripped all his clothes off as if to get ready for battle. It was very scary as they were both in the front row and I could see them falling over the balcony which was quite high, about 30ft.
Every one in the seats around them tried to get out of the way as quickly as possible as they will have felt threatened.
A few people tried to stop it and ran to get security, which felt like a life-time before they came.
The funny thing about the whole situation (if there was one) was that the man who was 'hulking out' had a WOODEN LEG (honestly).
After the security men threw them both out, they had to come back for his clothes and walking stick!!!!!
Usually when you sit in the balcony you are safe from trouble and fights!! :)

There were good points at soton also (as well as the show!) Alice giving his cane to the little girl at the front ,complete with white hat, was very cute!

(and i don't mean sparky!)

Worth the admission money just to see that eh ?

At London, one guy was hoofed out by security and police, but not before he had put up one helluva fight. He was only a skinny guy but it took about 6 guys to get him out, he was dragged from the middle of the crowd somewhere.
I was waiting for Street Fight to be played after that.

This lad was so skinny, I thought he was a girl for a while !, (probably the long hair), anyway he was dragged out of the main arena, pinned to the ground 'face-down' by 6 people - still "a kickin' and a gougin' " - and cuffed by two ("14 year old") fuzz, two (250lb) security and two (5 ton) 'crowd control experts', at the corner nearest the exit, where the two seating stands met. He seemed to have plenty to shout about, but I hadn't the vaguest clue what it was in aid of!

I have to say, I have not seen much of that at an Alice concert (in recent years), except perhaps during the Motorhead part of the MoR gig?

omg! I assumed you would be in the 'pit' with the rest of 'em Baz!

I was in the same row, at that corner, just as you were then! Ha!

Don't know how I missed you; 'cept I wouldn't know how to recognise you!

How embarrassing  sorry and i was only 3 people back behind you!...in my defence im not that tall so only got a quick look at your SON's face!

Saw the older women appear from no-where....the young ones i noticed were right next to me....elbowing each other in the ribs and trading mmmm pleasantries! ;)

I briefly met sparky, jaded,si,nick outside....the top hat, maidens shirt, and tattoo gave her away!! .....was surprised she wasn't FIRST in the queue though!!
