Details from new article about ACAS tour!
Cooper, whose previous conceptual epics include "Welcome to My Nightmare," "From the Inside" and "The Last Temptation," is planning a full-fledged stage show to support "Along Came a Spider" but won't have it on the road until 2009. "Right now I've got people that are drawing things up," says Cooper, who'd also like to offer a visual treatment of the album with different horror directors creating videos for each song. "We've started thinking about, 'What can we do to make this really interesting and what new things can we do with the stage?' I gonna definitely create a new way for Alice to die, something nobody's seen.
Sounds like a concert to die for!

My boy was playing with a bucket of teeny-tiny plastic spiders, the little ones that fit on your fingertip, and I got to thinking...
Hurling a few bucket-fulls of them out into the crowd when the lights are out would surprise folks, especially during a sudden break in a song. Have a few people hide behind the speakers and when the moment hits... let it rain!!!
Obviously I haven't thought it all through (finances/people needed to pull it off/liability for injury...etc) but it kind of came to mind as I watched him play, 'tis all..

When my wife comes home from work this afternoon, and after a little instruction for the boy on where to hide with his bucket... we'll put my theory to action.

The body twitching in the casket looked a bit fake, sure, but I never would have thought he'd reappear as one of the clowns. Maybe other people did, but it was a pleasant surprise for me. All focus seemed to be on that "sarcophagus" of sorts.HORRORHOLIC wrote:Speaking of a new way to die I just hope it's better then the last time he had a new way to die. I'm talking about the clowns wheeling him around in the wheelchair before doing that casket stabbing trick, that was way to silly and fake looking
