Post by Baz » Mon Jul 21, 2008 1:06 pm

Anyone know of a decent pub close to the London gig where we can meet for a beer.

Thats if anyone wants to of course.

Well I am not even going to be there. But I do recall a pub called the Pilot which is kind of midway between the exCel and the O2? Well actually a bit closer to the O2, but just in case: http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/ ... _Greenwich

Have a pint on me when you there, wherever you end up meeting ;) I wish I could fly over :(

And one for me, too!

So...let's see....that means Baz is now drinking a beer for Dragonlady, Shoey, myself, and presumably himself.....yup, this pub NEEDS to be within staggering distance!

No one seems interested this time around for some reason, which means i`ll have to speak to the missus. :(

:D I was going to say what Baz needs is company so he can share all these pints around. I hope that others will eventually be interested?

Or I'll have to hop into my private jetplane and help with the beer. And possibly find a ticket to the concert... yeah right!

And my friend's answer and advice:
hmmmm.... that area is a bit of a shit-hole. There's a quite a few pubs/bars in Canary Wharf.. eg 'All Bar One', and a Whetherspoons where the chance of being stabbed is probably lower.
Erm... ok hope that helps!

I have probably ruined my chances of anyone wanting to have a beer with me, here in the United States.

Yeah...I don't do whiskey either. Bought the guys shots one show, and when they went to drink them just before "Let the Whiskey Fall" they were one short....Damon drank one earlier in the show!

you see i cant believe this, and dont argue with me i warn you. but how can you say this about one side of the river and not the other? what do you know about the other side of the river? have you any experience of rivers? no. it has come to the point that this river can flow anywhere it wants to. why should it flow in the way that people want just beacause they may have paid to sail on it over the years?

and before you say anything, i know how you will reply and if it is wrong, i will make it sound even wronger. ahhhhhhhhh.

and you said............................................

sorry couldn't resist. makes it interesting after all.

have a good one.

er erm.
