Amazon Question

I had seen where if you pre-order the item, that you pay the lowest price. If you pay by your bank account, will it automatically deduct the lowest amount the product was listed at before it ships out? Or do you have to pay whatever the amount is at that time of ordering, and then they'll refund the difference if it goes any lower or what?

Thanks

they don't bill you until it ships.

nims is right - you'll be billed at whatever the item price is at when they ship it (far as I know). I believe you get a message if the item price changes since you added it to your basket - I know this is the case for "saved for later" items.

Okay... so you will get an invoice when the item is ready, and it doesn't matter if the product drops down to $1.99, if the item is 13.99 at the time of the invoice or shipping, then you pay $12.99, not the lower price?

You pay the lowest price between the time you pre-order it and it ships to you. So if it was $17.99 when you placed your order and it droped to $10.99 sometime before it ships, but ships when the price is $13.99, you should only be charged $10.99.
