hello friends!
I've been absent for quite a while---lots of big and little reasons.
BUT, I just happened to check Myspace a minute after the first song from Along Came a Spider was posted, and now I'm all aflutter!
It's really creepy, and really left me anxious to hear more.
I feel like this is the album I've been waiting for Alice to make for years.
Hooray!

Actually...I was very nearly the THIRD person to post it on RTC. There WERE already two there! Barely noticed in time not to hit "new topic!" Haha. LOL We're all excited.

There have been no reports of any FL concert dates and unfortunately it doesn't appear there will be this year as it looks like 99% of the U.S. tour is booked now with room for only a couple of more dates possible if they even get booked.

My two cents on the new song.. It took a while to grow on me I have to say. First I didn´t like it very much and was a bit dissapointed.

I still don´t think it´s gonna be one of the better tracks on the album but I really like the backing track.. cool drumming by Eric (as always) and the guitar sounds great,

The thing i don´t really like is the melody. For a single it should be a bit more melodic. Sure the refrain stays in your head but its not a very good melody.

I remember being somewhat dissapointed as well with Brutal Planet (although the album has really grown on me since then) just because it wasn´t as melodic as earlier albums.

Hopefully the rest of the album lives up to the hype and my own high expectations.

I give this song a 3/5
