Now I might be wrong about this since I only have a vague memory about it but isn't this the track Slash's playing on?
With the lot of stylish guitar soloing on it it's not impossible.

*Feel free not to read the following if you don't want to know anything about the song before the album comes out*

My opinion after listening once:
It's a good track. Very catchy chorus. It's quite "metal" but more like Mötley Crües latest single than for example Brutal Planet. The only thing I miss about it is that Alice voice could have been creepier.
"You, sir, are a demented, sick, degenerate, barbaric, naughty freako."

I've had 2 listens and was most impressed.I wasn't going to listen but as soon as I saw it was there it took all of 1 second to hit the play button. The 1st listen sounded good.2nd one I'm saying to myself 'yeah, this is so much hard rocking Alice'.I reckon by the end of the week I won't have the tune out of my head. Can' wait for the rest if this 1 track is anything to go by.Roll on the 28th.

I have to say that this song kicks serious butt and if this is a mere sample of how great ACAS is going to be...I can't WAIT...

"Vengeance is mine...to forget is divine"
"Freedom to rock, freedom to talk, freeeedom, raise your fist and yell!"

Ok, I have listened to it 5 times now. Slash seems desperately trying to make the "Solo of the year" catagory. I like the basic song structure, but all the aimless noodling from Slash is a little frustrating. I love the "What I want, what I need----Vengeance, vengeance" part.....and the orchestration is cool. Don't worry---this song will grow on me....but, Slash is annoying.

Ugh. I cracked. It was the Motley Crue comment that did it. I love Crue's new single. By contrast, I thought this song was weak. Very much sounded like something that should have been on Dragontown(which I hated).

Swinger: You're right about that.

In my opinion, this song isn't so hard as something from BP/DT. It sounds more like a heavier version of a Dirty Diamonds song to me. So far, of course. :)

Do I listen or not listen? Do I listen or not listen?

I told myself I was going to avoid it before the album came out, but this is hard.

I gotta admit I agree.
I was actually thinking when listening to it the first time "this is a little Kane Roberts-y". That's not a compliment in my book. ;)

I'm usually a big fan of Slash but I think he laid it on a little thick here.
Still and all, a really great song!

I know! I went straight to the myspace to see which song was up....and nearly hit play just out of habit of usually NOT waiting.

I haven't listened to it....yet........

Exciting to hear a song from the album - you can deffinetly hear that Slash is in the studio, he seems to get more airplay on this than Alice himself!

Happy with the song as a whole - nothing stella, the lyrics are standard tho I do like how it builds back up in the middle.

The song quality on myspace sucks tho, I'd recommend going onto www.alicecooper.com and listening to there - even tho the player there is cheapo, the song quality is much better.

:)
