The title sounds like one of those multi-layered/multi-meaning concepts that we have all come to know and love from Uncle Alice...on the surface it looks like one thing and could very well be, but upon closer inspection turns out to be something much deeper and profound. Let's face it, Alice could name his new CD "The New York City Yellow Pages" and we'd all be thrilled with the fact that there is a new release on the way! Like you, I can't wait to see what May 2007 brings. ~Cheers, RGLT

it's not too bad, considering that Diamond head's new album is called 'What in your head?' it's quite good

btw, Brian Tatler has posted loads of info about the new DH album on their site - diamond-head.net

I think it's a very promising title...I'm imagining Alice singing in a creepy spider voice.

I'm also reminded of the second round robin, loooooonng ago...... ;)

Hmmm! A "creepy spider voice".... would that perhaps sound anything like The Demon voice, from "Tibute" by Tenacious D?,
esp. when he says;-

"Playyyyy for me the grayyyy-test song innnnn the werlddd. (ooor ahl eeeat yeour souls)" -

Because that is exactly how I imagine a spider would talk/sing! :D

I hope they do the giant spider's web on tour, like WTMN.

Wouldn't that be something? ???

Well, I always wanted to see "The Black Widow" in the set list somewhere along the ways. Seems like it would be a crime to forget that song this time around.

Yep! For me too.

I never liked the sound of 'Dirty Diamonds' and all that 'garage' stuff, so maybe this is more promising.

Certainly has more of an Alice 'ring' to it! ;)

I don't like it, simply because of the recent movie of the same name. Not that it is derivative, but that is just my first impression.

It hold promise for a good theme album. But as was said earlier, the music will be everything.

Sounds ok to me, seems very Cooperesque. I know that earlier Alice stated the the new recording would be "psychodelic". I wonder if he stuck with that plan.

He certainly has an affection with spiders, I don't have to mention 'Devil's Food/Black Widow'.
Or 'Black Widow/Kru Productions' ; both from '75.
But the connection between spiders and serial killers will be evil enough for our Mr. Alice. It will absolutely be a right follow-up for his 'Teenage Frankenstein'. I can't wait to see it. And certainly hopes he'll come to the Netherlands.

The title gives a creepy crawly feel just by saying it--I am looking forward to adding it to my pile of CDs.
