To get the ball rolling, what is everyone's thoughts on the album title? Do you think it's memorable? Do you think it sounds cheesy? Discuss!

My first reaction was 'ewwwwww' when I heard the album title. "Cheesy" would be the one word I would assign to it. But the more I think about it, the more I've decided that it's perhaps to simply wait and see. After all I thought TEOAC sounded a bit cheesy as well, and the surprise on that album were all pleasant ones.

Not sure about the title, I'll wait to hear the album and then I might have more thoughts on it.

In my opinion Along Came A Spider is a perfect title for the forthcoming album. I just hope the record itself is as good as the flamboyant title.

Sounds good, I hope the music will be as good as the title or even better!

I think it's cool. It suits Alice for sure. I'm looking foward to hearing it.

As far as a title goes I like it.
And I'm pretty sure I'll like the album too ('cause so far I've liked every album).

Sounds good to me. :D It's evocative of the "Little Miss Muffet" nursery rhyme and very Alice in my opinion.

I agree - the anticipation of what Alice could do on that theme seems rather evil also :8s:

I actually like it. I thought of this way - bearing in mind it was the working title for TLT it would seem it's been lurking in Alice's mind for all that time, so I'm looking forward to what (else) could possibly have been bubbling in his mind to go along with it!

The title is very "Alice" and it makes sense for him to use it....since this will more than likely be a concept album, then who knows what direction he will go in? The title has me hooked and we can assume there might be a title track called "Along came a spider" so we shall see...

I like it, 4 words that create that creepy air of anticipation. Hopefully the whole album will be that evokative. :D

Yes, it gets a positive vote from me; and it's very creepiness brings to my mind some reminisces of the "Welcome to my Nightmare" concept.

I kinda like the title. :D

Makes you want to open it up and see what this spider is up to, so to speak. The play on the child's song gives it a manacing feel, almost dangerous.

I would have also liked Puke On A Piece Of Apple Pie - Part II as a title, but hey! I'm easy.

i really dont like the title. it would be a brilliant song title for alice. i can see it now on my walkman screen... but it doesnt roll off the tounge like welcome to my nightmare, or, raise your fist and yell, or, the last temptation, or billion dollar babies...

just doesnt have any ring to it, especially since were used to cool album names from alice.

but thats just what i think. i could be proved wrong. im hoping i am. ill most likley love it anyway.

my only worry is that its too widdley diddley guitar music, cos when keri joine dteh band there was a massive increase on the old tapping front. ruined some songs live for me...
