Well, for starters, is it as good as Warren Zevon's masterpiece "Werewolves of London"?

You're not alone. I like Dragontown too!
I like Dragontown too! I am not sure why it is so disliked. Triggerman is great for a start.

Anyway, back to Zombie Dance. I gave it a listen at first and thought "average", but now I am really getting in to the melody and the spooky atmosphere. Makes sense with it being about Voodoo.
I'm pure non entity, don't even look for me. I watch you when you sleep. I am the triggerman........I'm always out of sight. A shadow in the mist.

I really liked it too. Head and shoulders over anything on Eyes. I wonder if Alice will play the harmonica part on the up coming tour. Now that would be cool.

Definitely the best song on the album, and the best Alice Cooper song since... oh, the Seventies? It would have fit on Love it to Death, School's Out or Welcome to My Nightmare. Especially LitD, Black Juju fading into this, brilliant.

I also get a strong Stones vibe from it, mostly from "Love is Strong", which has the same kind of harmonica parts.

This is what Alice does best: being Alice. Not trying to sound like the White Stripes or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Just classic Alice.

Very cool song. I was expecting something entirely different from the title of this track. In the future I can see this song being the one that I revisit the most off of DD.

Let me contradict myself here....
having listened to the song over and over again, and especially having heard Alice play "Walk on Gilded Splinters" on his radio show, I now think he was trying to sound like Dr John, which makes sense. He succeeds.

Loved this one. Again a good one played loud in the car late at night.

Now that I've had the chance to listen to it several times it just reminds me of how capable AC and company can be. It's just a really great song. Too bad there arent more as good as this one too.

I'd say that's a little more accurate than the Stones. I like the feel of this song. Definately didn't expect what I heard the first time I heard it. With the title "Zombie Dance", I thought it'd mabye be more heavy or horror-ish. I was pleasantly surprised. Alice needs to play more harmonica too.
All of the above is just my opinion.

I voted average. Alice's use of the harmonica is a neat treat and the bridge is alright. This is the kind of tune you'd play in the garage at midnight (if you catch my meaning). :bam:

Alice wanted to bring back the old sound, and in my mind, this is the song that really does it for him. It's not my fave, but it's not bad by any means.

Very tasty one! Such a good song - and rated "good" as well - I like the sound, it makes you actually imagine that night and area and everything. I only think it's way too perfect and it was the reason why I couldn't listen to it as much as others.
oh, hello, the mystery of "O"

Yes, very tasty...

Sounds a bit like Rolling Stone's "Midnight Rambler".
