Pure Alice wouldn't you say Steven? Just the twisted side of Alice I think.

The spoken section totally spoils it for me.

This song is so gross that it is great!

Everytime I hear it I shake my head and think, Oh my gosh this is awful then laugh my a** off and play it again. It is like a rollercoaster that makes you nauseous but you get back on and ride it again and again like a form of self-inflicted torture!

Since I wholeheartedly believe that Jesse Jane was ment to do cause this reaction I had to cast my vote for exellent. How can anything so sick be bad?

Steven, I saw him do KOTSS in 78 live. In all the Coop gigs I've been to, that single tune was the highlight of it all. JJ brings that back. STC is by far my favorite here, but JJ is close on it's heels.

Well, the story is very funny. The vocal is INCREDIBLE(there's one moment right at the end when I would SWEAR it was Cash "now I'm doing ten to life") but what really makes this track for me is the arrangement and guitar.
Score one for Roxie ;)

good example of how deiverse Alice's song writing abilities are. It also has fantasic lyrics, which I wondered if they were fading away after Eyes. This proved to me that they were still there

Seriously...stuck...in...my...head!!! :p

Okay, this one made my Trucker-Song lovin' son snicker out loud. That spinning sound isn't the CD, it's Johnny Cash, rotating! I think he might be giggling all the way, too. After all, the man gave us "A Boy Named Sue". ;)

I love the vocals on this and I don't think the spoken part detracts at all. It kind of puts the song over the top, just when it's in danger of becoming a bit serious and repetitive.

Say, when is Alice just gonna go for it and put out a straight comedy album? Oh, right, Zipper... :p

Dont like it...yeah ok it's funny after the first time ya hear but I believe it's a waste of a good melody. Could've been a great song with a different lyric.

This song has Frank Zappa written all over it!!!!!!!
The voice, the slow tempo, the humor. One of my favorite "FUNNY" tunes done by Alice next to I Love America.

Ironically, this is one of the first songs on the album I took to quite quickly. The music compliments perfectly the story that is being told. The spoken part in the middle reminded me of Crazy Little Child's spoken passage. Again, Alice's humor won me over with this song.

Ok, I was hesitant with this one. I heard it had a real country western feel to it, and I have devoted the musical part of my life to avoiding country. I liked Desperado, and I like The Saga. A lot acctually... It's such a funny song, and being different from Alices other songs, it sticks out. Change is good, and this song is an example of that

Totally, one of the best! VERY unusual vocals....I have not expected this kind of singing....well, expected that he could sing like that, but it was a surprise though. And the story is very nice - I was laughing a lot. Rated the highest

Love the album - but this track is the icing on the cake for me, very clever and sung beautifully. I must be getting soft! :blues:
