Re: Roundhouse Show
Ah well, if that is the case, nevermind. As above, this all kicked off while I was away on holiday so I missed the boat a bit, and getting to these dates would not be straight forward for me...
...And personally, I don't care.

Re: Roundhouse Show
Don't worry, Dave. There are actually seats to BOTH nights available, yet. It appears they just released some seated tickets for Halloween night, and there are reserved AND GA tix for the 1st. Just go to the RoundHouse site.

Re: Roundhouse Show
Excellent. I did mention this to "the powers that be" to try and ensure we could get them as early as possible, and not as the doors open, as this is always a big concern at GA shows. Good to know everything is being sorted out for what promoise to be truly special shows.billiondollar18 wrote:Just got an e-mail from the Roundhouse regarding picking up tickets. You can pick them up on the day of the gig after midday.

Re: Roundhouse Show
I suppose this means the ones we got from AC.com? I didn't get any email either but I know the main server for my email service was being replaced today and mail could be delayed.billiondollar18 wrote:Just got an e-mail from the Roundhouse regarding picking up tickets. You can pick them up on the day of the gig after midday.

Re: Roundhouse Show
Nothing easier! Take two days off. Book an EasyJet flight from Manchester* to Zurich and a room at EasyHotel (yes they do cheap htoels too) or Etap hotel. I'll buy a ticket and you can pay me off when you arrive.
Total cost: about 100£
I do that every year the other way around
* no direct flight from Liverpool
'course one more night would be better if you also want to visit a little bit...
Any other Sickies want to join me?

Re: Roundhouse Show
It's not fitting with my ecologically correct lifestyle but I am not going to complain about low cost companies. When I was younger I was stuck with whatever concerts we had here. Good choices but if you're a fan of someone you only ever had one gig a year... not enough for me
The pathetic thing is that it costs me the same to go to Zurich for a concert and spend the night, the train fares here are about the same as a flight to the UK or even more! crazy world
I cheated a bit because I didn't include food in my calculation but if you book early it's not much more than that. Last year for the London show I brought homemade sandwiches along

Re: Roundhouse Show
Hi all
I'm just wondering if anyone else booked via O2's priority tickets as I did? My confirmation email says this:
"Order for: Xxxxxxxxx
Seat location: section TICKET
Total Charge: £80.75"
The "section TICKET" bit was the only option for ticket type when I booked on Ticketmaster. I assumed this was General Admission, however I have just checked on the Ticketmaster site and which says:
"Section
TICKET
ROW
GA1
SEATS
3 - 4
Presumably GA stands for General Admission, but why the seat numbers? Very confusing.

I don't know if it's the case here, but many times they do that just to keep track of the ticket count.
"I was scared to death, afraid to close my eyes
And find that I was gone . . . "

Re: Roundhouse Show
Yes, we've seen this before. In that case the number was in fact meaningless to us and it was a General Admission ticket. I would assume the same is true in this case.

Re: Roundhouse Show
Is anyone expecting any deviation from the standard Theatre of Death Tour setlist for these two "special" shows?
I read that one of the acts that won the London audtions "included a drill through the nose and lying on a bed of nails as a colleague smashed a tile on his stomach with a sledgehammer."
I would love to finally hear that song live, and it could be quite fitting too.
