Opening act?
Been a while since I’ve been on here, really excited as I have tickets to opening night Saturday. Was wondering if anyone knows if Alice has an opener this tour?

Re: Opening act?
I'm pretty sure there are no opening acts on this leg of the tour.

I’m probably showing my age but I’d be good with that.

Re: Opening act?
Yep! I've loved not having to sit through openers at most of my Alice shows for the past decade!
Re: Opening act?
The last Alice show I went to was I believe 2010, and they actually had an opener I appreciated since it had Mike Pinera in it. I think they were called the classic rock all stars. He told an Alice anecdote or two between songs.

I think opening night is Friday now, better be because that's when I'm going lol. I got ya beat by a day! Haven't heard of an opener here either.

What city? I’m still just seeing Youngstown as the first stop on his fb page

Re: Opening act?
It was terrible, I bought tickets to Youngstown (about 4 hours away from me) not thinking he was going to be in Michigan. Sure enough he schedules Soaring Eagle which is like an hour from me. Managed to sell two of the Youngstown tickets but still have to eat a third (so far)

Oh I’m sorry to hear that. At the end of the day I hope the fun you have outweighs the cost.
Make a plea to Alice maybe. Who would have thought he’d come to soaring eagle ?

Re: Opening act?
There is no opener for the shows starting Friday. Those are "An Evening With" shows. Anytime there are other bands on a tour they are usually listed. Alice and many bands do not use openers when they are playing at relatively small venues. They use openers (or are the opener) when there is a large seating capacity. The first month of the tour are mainly large theaters 1600-3000 seats.

I’m also going Saturday. I haven’t seen Alice for I think 7 years. Used to go a couple of times per tour. Ticketmaster’s BS put a stop to that. I live in Youngstown and had to suffer through him coming to town last year and not going. Decided today to take the family and sit in the nosebleeds because we found cheap tickets. I haven’t been more than 5 rows back since my first Alice show when I was 13. It is killing me.

I’m trying to resist the urge to read any spoilers. I’m weak
