So what do we think ? another crap festival date like last years rip off ( Cropredy ticket policy )
Please no more festivals
Or maybe some indoor shows around the Euro festival dates May/June ?
(
If covers album set for spring release surely this would be the right time)
Or end of the year after the Crue tour ?
Or nothing until 2015 ?

I can't see Canadian dates either, except for the West, so far. But we can always go to the States, and you guys in Europe, have the possibility to travel to another country. Think of the fans in Australia and South America,etc... for which it is more difficult to attend a concert. Stop complaining...

With so many dates in the US, I feel that people in other parts of the World have every reason to complain.
To see Alice last year I had to fork out over £100 to see Alice play at Cropredy, as we had to buy a 3 day ticket. Total marketing rip off. I hope so much we get to see Alice in the UK in 2014.
Many fans also don't have the time or money to travel from the UK to the limited number of dates in continental Europe.
Fans down in Aus/NZ deserve to see him too.

it is annoying when a band doesn't play at a convenient/affordable distance : i'm lucky in being mobile w/ a car and full-time employed, but i must admit to getting severely hacked-off at the fact that every band seems to come no closer than Glasgow or Manchester : kerching, there's another £60 cost for petrol, thanks. still, i'll pay it to see someone i like, and i sympathise w/ countries that haven't had a visit for years.

As Ryan Roxie is playing a few dates in the UK in June.
Anyone know if there is any chance that Alice might play any dates in June in the UK as well?

I would guess that the fact Ryan can book solo shows would suggest he's been told he won`t be needed in June ie no AC shows.

Thank Si,
I was just wondering that as Ryan was playing a few dates in UK, it might have been because he was coming over here with Alice. I was hoping anyway
Looks like it will be 2015 then before he returns to the UK then?

I don`t think that is the case, at least as far as I know.

Probably nothing more than a fantasy, but I would love to see Alice opening up for The Who on their 50th anniversary tour
However, considering that the Mutley Crow tour ends on Nov 22nd, and The Who UK tour starts on Nov 26th, it's almost certainly not going to happen
It would still be something to see, tho!
People try to put us down

Without doubt, the only show I would go to see Alice when he's not headlining. Greatest live British band I've ever seen. Lot of respect between these 2 bands as well.

Have heard that the Halloween show is likely to be in Canada. I would imagine that he will not come to the UK or Oz after the Crue tour finishes in Nov, as the Pudding won't be long after that, so it looks like nothing at all for us, or you peeps Down Under this year
Luckily I got to see him do 2 shows in Germany last month/May - it's becoming a regular thing for me to go to Europe to see him, lucky for me I can just about afford it (not that my family agree!)

Can you elaborate on this? Where did you get this info? Any idea where in Canada?
If it's going to be somewhere I can drive to like Niagara or Toronto, I may have to start preparing for the possibility.
I did hear the band would like to do some solo dates around that time (they have 5 days off).

The Who: "Lot of respect between these 2 bands as well."
Hmmm. . .I always thought that "put the money down" definitely included a dig at the orignal band.

That was a very long time ago and since then Alice has worked with Roger Daltrey at least twice, has appeared at a Pete Townshend tribute show and Daltrey has appeared on an Alice Cooper tribute album.

All tour dates this year are on the Home page, top right.

Saw The Who and Coop on consecutive nights a few years (5?) back in Boston (TD and Orph) which was better than a double bill because we got two full sets.

Both brilliant tours jumpingjack, I saw them both around then, not on consecutive nights though. Was lucky enough to have seen The Who and Alice at Wembley in "75" as well and to complete a fantastic trio of concerts, saw Zeppelin at Earls Court the same year, mindblowing concerts.
