Checking in from Dayton, Ohio
Hello all. We just got back from the Dayton (Kettering,) Ohio show.
Not much more I can add that hasn't already been said. The setlist appeared to be the same as it has been lately. The Cyclops seems to have found more of a place than just showing up and manhandling Alice. The band was very very tight. The crowd in Dayton was terrific and the venue seemed very very full. Overall a great great show.
Also, I have to give a big props to the lighting director. It seems that the light show is becoming a little more sophisticated as the tours go on, which I'm impressed with. It helped give a lot more kick to the visual side of things.
I also had the chance to meet Hunter Goatley & a friend of his (I'm sorry, I didn't catch who his name) and hope I meet them on the road again soon.
A couple of things to note, Alice is apparently dealing with some laryngitis as I found out tonight. It doesn't hinder his ability to sing too much, other than he has to do some vocal rearrangements to accommodate and maybe has some minor trouble belting out some parts of songs he normally wouldn't have any issues with. Hopefully the worstt of it has passed and will get better soon.
Also as hinted on in other threads, some more dates are being worked on for Alice with Zombie this fall time. I've heard Youngstown, Ohio several times for a date as well as maybe one in Bloomington, Illinois, which isn't finalized or anything. It sounded like this might be a little more than a one off affair.
The night was capped off with a meet & greet with Alice which was very entertaining. Alice (jokingly?) said the name of the next Zombie/Cooper tour would be "Ghouls Gone Wild" which got a lot of laughs.
I want to say a big thank you to all of you involved with helping to make the night a memorable evening!
Hope we do it again soon.

I was at this show too... great time and I really dug Fraze Pavilion, which is a great place to see a show.
It's very intimate up front with a low stage and no barrier!

I was at the Fraze show and it was killer. That is the second time I've seen Alice at that venue and I love the place. Took my kids this time and they had an absolute blast. We got first row on the lawn right at the wall.It was their first concert. I'm sure Alice sets the bar high for every rock show they will ever see in their lifetime.Just like me at an early age.
They have now seen the master.

It was great to meet RemarkablyInsincere and WickedYoungMan! Lee Davey (Alice Cooper eChive) was with me. The show was great---I loved the changes from last year's version. And the Cyclops rocked.

Ok, I just threw a few pics from the first night of Harris up on Flickr. The cyclops' head fell off that night...wasn't supposed to.

I'm sure it looked deliberate even if it wasn't.
