To be fair this isn't a serious attempt at a cover version. It's all just messing around. Fripp and Toyah having been doing these 'Sunday Lunch' videos all year, simply to raise a smile during the pandemic. Some have been VERY funny (like when they were in inflatable(?) dinosaur costumes) when you consider Fripp's ultra serious image.
And yes, Toyah is the AC fan. Always has been. She's covered SO properly before on one of her albums and at various times live.

This brings back unwelcome memories of Hazel O'Connor and her dreadful version of the song when she covered it in a kid's TV show in which she played a school pupil whilst being in her mid twenties, at least.

The film I made with Toyah we had approached Alice who had declined but Toyah was excited that we had even asked him.

I actually enjoyed this. It's great to see Fripp having fun with nonsense. It would be great to see these two collaborate with Alice on some sort of similar lighthearted fun.

Alice and Toyah working together on something would be a riot.

Toyah would make a perfect Baby Jane Hudson in a musical version of "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?".

The character Blanche, Jane's sister , can be re-written as a man and become Jane's brother. A perfect role for Alice.
