'Hey Stoopid' from 'A Fistful of Alice' (1997)

Did the 1996 Cabo Wabo performance of 'Hey Stoopid' ever surface in any way? I don't understand why they didn't release it on the Japanese release, since it has literally every other song they did at that show... :bam:

Are you sure it was played? I'm not.
It wasn't played at the shows directly after Cabo. Not until Ventura on June 20th afaik.

I don't think Hey Stoopid was played at the Cabo show.

TBH that doesn't mean anything. There are lots of mistakes on that site, and they even have lists for gigs from the late 60s where no recording exists, and so no one knows the setlist for sure. Anyone can upload lists there.

The setlists here has a note (Hey Stoopid?), because it has been suggested it was played, but there is so far no evidence of the fact.

As the OP says, if it was, why was it not included on the CD or anywhere else, especially considering everything else played has been released? I don't know the answer... but it's reasonable to suggest it isn't released because it wasn't actually played, and so doesn't exist.
Until someone proves otherwise I would go with that.
