Old Record Collector Ad

I’m probably going to look really stupid to all the die hard fans and long time members of this site when I ask this but here goes!
Many years ago when I used to buy “Record Collector” magazine over here in the UK there used to be an Ad in the classified section for Alice Cooper collectibles and memorabilia. I bought a few bits from this guy and he’d occasionally send me listings of what he had available in the post. I also used to covertly (I was at work) phone him up (pre widespread internet days) to see what he had available and he was always extremely friendly, enthusiastic and happy to help. Of course over the years I moved out of my parent’s house and obviously as the internet became more available I’m guessing the template for this gentleman’s business changed to keep up and it’s been years since I received one of those photocopied catalogue of goodies through my door.
Anyway it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a member here or at least well known to you guys. I’m just wondering what became of him.
If you’re out there I’d just like to say thank you.

Probably referring to Shaun Rutz (sp?)
As far as I know he stopped concentrating on AC items some years ago, but he is on ebay selling stuff.
Often his stuff was very 'optimistically' prices...

Yes some of the records he had available were rather expensive, definitely too expensive for me! But I did get to look at grainy black and white photocopied pictures of the album covers!

Record Collector was pretty much the only way to find out about rare or odd stuff back in the pre internet days. I think that's where I found out about Amuk and realized I didn't know as much about Alice as I thought.

It was a good magazine content wise but a dreary presentation.

Ah yes, I bought a few things from Shaun over the years. I remember getting a couple of custom vhs tapes with some grainy footage and some cool interview footage back from the Constrictor/RYFAY years.

Used to enjoy leafing through his b&w leaflets.
