Her name is Ethyl Coulde and she was eternally grateful to Alice because he saved her from the clutches of Jimmy Savile by carving a mark of Zorro on Jimmy with that very sword

A TV Show or something was asking the same question some years ago. I don`t think she was ever identified.

That's a shame. It would be a lot of fun to track her down. You often get these type of short pieces in the Guardian.

I wonder if Savile was on the show that night.

From what I've found .. yes, he was the presenter the night the band performed on the show.

An awesome performance nonetheless - The band looked great!

Speaking of School's Out...I still would love to see once again that Episode of Don Kirshner around 1978 with Alice Cooper just to see how it was done again...It was School's out from 1972 but they had it spliced different...It started off with that intro music from that old Public Animal #9 video from '72 but instead of launching into Public Animal it cut into School's Out & intertwined the hanging scene into School's out...It was done well because I really thought he hanged during School's Out back then...I think they played the Elected video right afterwards... I only seen that episode once but it was so cool I never forgot it... I also would like to see the midnight Special tribute to Alice Cooper where it was clips from Good to See You mixed with some interview footage

I love that extended introduction to Public Animal No 9. If they ever play an extended show again as a band that would be a great intro!

I'm sure he's fine. Many fall by the wayside. Probably just got tired here as it can get intense here sometimes. All in all there's probably only 30, if that, people that post here. Nothing to get too worked up about. Personally,I miss Mr Barlow. Great guy!

No, just bored. Most threads aren't that interesting or original and most questions asked are unoriginal (with the exception of your's about "Top Of The Pops") and have already been answered. With some questions, I can answer them but choose not to as some people tend not to understand the answer and the ensuing debate quickly becomes uninteresting. I do answer a lot of questions privately though.

Slightly off topic, but just watched Super Duper again, first time in a good while. Noticed some familiar names in the credits this time so thanks to Andy and Si (Sickthings) for their contributions . Despite the occasional raging debates I still enjoyed it again
