Am I the only one here to find this a very weird song to appear on a rock album? Be it that the spoken part somehow reminds me of the end of Elected ( no coincidence I guess) , but it's lacking the power Elected had from its first notes..
Catchy yes, but not what I expected/hoped to hear from HV or Alice.

Agree it's very different but now I've got over the surprise I'm quite pleased that there will be some variety on the album. It's worth remembering this is not an Alice Cooper album. Especially as he is excusing himself from lyric tampering.

I think so, although not a first for Perry at toilet humour. This sounds like another (weaker) Depp penned song, with a nod to "Elected". As others have pointed out I 100% hear "Vindaloo" in this. The fart bit I hope gets dropped live.

Happy to be corrected but wasn't that basic "vindaloo" melody line around BEFORE the song? IWasn't it a football chant long before.. which they used for the song.
If not, it's a complete lift as it's pretty much identical.
And the fart gag is just embarrassing... just terrible.
