Dirty dreams "extended cut"

Hi all,
I have recently found out about this extra 10-15 seconds of material on an obscure pressing of hey stoopid.
Can someone confirm which version i need to purchase? Is it the 2014 friday music edition
The notes in the discog only say a 2017 edition but i cannot find this.....
I'm still beyond baffled how this can happen to be honest, but i need to own it!

Ahh superb, i didn't see it in that bit!
i have no ordered it! most expensive 15 seconds ever? The whole thing just baffles me! how did it even happen? (wouldn't they just get the copies from the digital masters?) i have never heard of this sort of thing happening before. i am fascinated, does this happen to other artists too?

I don't think it is a rare occurance. I think some of the ELO singles mixes might have been the album version. Maybe whoever was compiling looked at the wrong digital file or the digital file was wrongly labelled. I think mastering engineer Steve Hoffman played god with a few greatest hits albums ( can't remember who ) and replaced the singles edits with the album ones. I think he didn't like the edits or the sound of the 45's.

Anomalies can be fun. Try as I can i cannot remember what Dirty Dreams sounds like. Enjoy the 15 seconds.

I'm sure for most of you dirty dreams is a nightmare you are glad alice woke from, for me I think its a great rocker with a fast pace and allot of energy. Lyrically its nonsense but i'm ok with it
Didn't realise it was a thing that happened a lot. my mind is blown!
