Television Generation DVD

Not seen this mentioned in 'latest news' yet. Amazon UK are listing The Television Generation DVD; release date: November 2nd. Here's (some of) the blurb:

Featuring television/live performances by Alice Cooper (original band/solo singer). Includes rare 1971 footage, alongside more recent performances. TRACKLIST 1. I'm Eighteen 2. Black Ju Ju 3. Public Animal No.9 4. Is It My Body? 5. Under My Wheels 6. School's Out 7. Under My Wheels 8. Billion Dollar Babies 9. No More Mr. Nice Guy 10. Sideshow 11. Desperado 12. Gutter Cats vs. the Jets 13. Feed My Frankenstein 14. Ballad of Dwight Fry 15. School's Out 16. Elected 17. You and Me 18. Generation Landslide '81 19. Under My Wheels 20. Clones (We're All) 21. Pain 22. 7 and 7 Is 23. Prettiest Cop on the Block 24. Model Citizen 25. Cold Ethyl 26. Only Women Bleed 27. Go to Hell 28. Alice Interview 29. Vicious Rumours 30. I'm Eighteen 31. Billion Dollar Babies 32. School's Out 33. Who Do You Think We Are?

I would presume tracks 17-30 are the French TV Special.

I spotted that as well, but it won`t be on the news page as it's obviously an unauthorised release.
It will be interesting to see what sort of quality the footage is ie if it's any better then what is already around, or if more likely it's just taken from the same old versions that have been circulating for years.
I suspect the later.

think you're right, Si. The German amazon states that it contains 120 min of live performances recorded for TV broadcast across his career...
you really wouldn't understand..

Some of those other titles 7 - 16 look like they were from the 95 South American tour maybe

i will have to buy this wont i? I'm pretty sure given the seemingly scatter shot list of footage it will be dodgy as anything. but there is still a chance (slim) it could be good quality and real gem of a package........
Worth it for 95 Chille alone?

Titles 18-33 seems to be the Paris Special. (same songs, same order)

Just watched it a couple of days ago. The quality is okay for an unofficial/grey area release (interestingly the ACG tracks are technically the best). It's not really expensive, and it's nice to have this material on DVD. Love the Paris Special btw.

Incredibly frustrating how random it is. I mean why not give us the whole 95 show (need me some more last temptation fix!) Its the dodgiest release ive seen for a while (from the stock DVD authoring software menu to the low quality picture)
However it is probably the best quality i have seen for the paris special (doesn't say allot tbh) i never will "get" that thing, its just plain bizarre. Just dont have high hopes and it will just about to deliver. Catweazle said it right when its just nice to have material on DVD
