Found this, did not see it in the news so I thought I'd post it here:
Gonzo Multimedia will release Michael Bruce's critically acclaimed biography "No More Mr. Nice Guy" revised. Also available is a limited edition signed by Michael Bruce.

This was actually announced a few months ago (December to be exact), so has dropped off the news page. They were taking pre-orders for a special edition back then, with photos etc, but I think it's possibly sold out now as there were only a handful left when I last looked..

Thanks. I think I have missed or forgotten that!

I got the book from Gonzo a month or so a go. It looks like a reprint of the 2000 edition, with an added short one page epilogue mentioning the Hall of Fame and Paranormal recording.
I'm not really interested in the box-set, which I think comes out next month.

Was there much new in it? I had the old one and I wasn't a big fan, he came off as a bit bitter and unless there is allot of new worthwhile content I will pass.

I thought fences were being mended. I guess not.

Michael's book was written twenty years ago.

Haven't read it for many years but I remember finding it all quite bitter but with some occasional interesting information.

That's my memory of it, too. I have no interest in revisiting it.

If any of you are interested in reading the SickThings mailing list discussions about the book when it first came out, click on this link. The discussions start in November 1996 with the subject "No More Mr. Nice Guy."

I'll admit I've never read the book (I'm generally not into these kinds of things anyway) but I remember reading through the Sickthings Archive and seeing that it did create a little drama with Alice & Michael. They seemed to patch things up but it was a shame the way it all went down especially when Alice has never said a bad word about any of those guys (that I know of.)

Sky arts have been showing super duper again. The MB omission is really bad. I know this has been discussed before, but not only do they never mention his name, even at the end when they run through what everyone is up to now he fails to get a mention! I know people have guessed that he might not have wanted to be involved but it is so glaring!
