Vampires UK dates with the Darkness and the Damned
Finally announced! Honestly didn't expect a Glasgow date for the Vampires but what a line up! Way better than the Tubes (who I was desperate to enjoy) and the Mission (awful).

Gonna be cool to see The Vampires although I can't imagine it being as good as a full Alice show...Probably get loads of girls only there to see Johnny Depp as well

Another seated fiasco

Looks like it.bigbradwolf wrote:Another seated fiasco
When I first looked it stated the VIPs got "general admission" tickets. Then they changed it 30 minutes later. Bastards.

Well, can't wait to be subjected to the same ticket sale sh1tshow as we had last time. It's AXS again so fully expect the hyped, DO NOT MISS OUT presale to be offering seats 15-30 rows back on a flat floor. Deep joy.

Seems to be the general state of presales these days. Not just AXS.

Re: Vampires UK dates with the Darkness and the Damned
I was excited for about five minutes, until I realised that this will most likely be another seated gig, with a shambolic rush to find decent tickets (that don't include a £1000 meet-and-greet), which I expect to cost about £60 with fees. All to see what is, in effect, a glorified covers band.
I think I've talked myself out of going. If it turns out that Glasgow is standing (ha!) then maybe I'll reconsider, but for now I think I'm missing this one.

The tickets for the Birmingham show are noted as: "Prices from £52.05 (Incl admin fee) + £2.55 fulfilment fee per order"jram wrote:I was excited for about five minutes, until I realised that this will most likely be another seated gig, with a shambolic rush to find decent tickets (that don't include a £1000 meet-and-greet), which I expect to cost about £60 with fees. SEC pre-sale tomorrow at 9AM for those interested, according to the email.
though, given the debacle last time, selected seats only w/ better ones released later, is it worth the chance....

It would be amazing if neal, Dennis or Michael were involved! Don't see why not!
Re: Vampires UK dates with the Darkness and the Damned
The problem is that there is no way of knowing who, if anyone, will be selling the good seats. As shown by the last tour, many of the best seats went on public sale a few weeks before the show! The pre-sales had garbage.killer wolf wrote:SEC pre-sale tomorrow at 9AM for those interested, according to the email.

I fully expect it to be the same for this.
Re: Vampires UK dates with the Darkness and the Damned
Exactly why I don't think I'm going to make the effort this time. I'll have a wee look in the SEC presale tomorrow, but I suspect this is going to sell largely to Johnny Depp fans rather than Alice fans.Si wrote:The problem is that there is no way of knowing who, if anyone, will be selling the good seats. I'm going but I am not doing the pre-sale as it was so painful last time. Happy to wait as this will not sell out. All seated is a really bad move but not a surprise.

It would be even more amazing if this was an ACG Reunion Tour.dadascot wrote:It would be amazing if neal, Dennis or Michael were involved! Don't see why not!

Re: Vampires UK dates with the Darkness and the Damned
this is a hard pass.
So not only is it not an alice concert but it is seated (repeat of last years terrible Wembley show is not high on my list of things to recreate especially for sub par covers!)
The ticket prices are insane and I am a little disgusted they are doing this.
In a weird way I hope it falls flat so alice rethinks some things.
Disgusting situation, still for any willing to cough up the dough for subpar seats, good luck! I hope you enjoy it

Let's be serious - a $1000 meet and greet, ridiculous.
