Once again no sign of Alice. I don't expect him to be near the top, but given that he did over 100 shows shouldn't we expect to see him at least in the lower reaches? Thoughts?

Yes indeed a little strange but I don't know how they calculate.

I don't think this can be right, olly murs is on it for gods sake! How did depeche mode get in at number 6!!! I wouldn't see them if they paid me.

Not sure if all the numbers are completely correct, but not surprised that Alice isn't in there. Besides playing smaller venues than most of these artists (in the US at least) Alice has very reasonably priced tickets.

They are going by the total reported Gross for the year. A number of factors can go into it. Also keep in mind that Alice did the Deep Purple thing, so they may not attribute those numbers to him.

Ahhh, Little Mix at #46.

They were on in Glasgow just before Alice performed there and sold the venue out 3 times over (the 3rd date was added later and they ended up doing 2 shows on the same day).

Alice and friends didn't manage to sell it out once so you get an appreciation of why he's not featured. My guess is that he would be way down from number 100.

The good news is, who actually cares

Seen Springsteen a few times from “85” till “2013”....absolutely brilliant shows...3-4 hours of top class entertainment, never the same show twice. Money well spent.

Not a big fan of the Boss's music but I admire the work ethic. Tom Morello said he first was given a list of 50 songs to learn and then Bruce would continually add 4 or 5 songs nightly that he would have to learn. Saw him in 1985 - it was a good show and the crowd was really into it - the music just doesn't do that much for me.

Exactly how I feel. Everything sounds so much the same, and sometimes there's a great song fighting to get out but it's often performed (on record at least) in such a flat, lifeless way to make it middle of the road/radio friendly.

if i was, being asked $500 for a concert ticket would cure me of it.

I could cope with Springsteen, saw him before in Dublin and he was fine. Clapton however.... a helluva price for a sleeping pill.

Most of that list looks like political rallies instead of musical entertainment.

For Springsteen, it should be noted that it is his Broadway performance, and not so much a traditional concert, which is increasing the price (Just look at how much Hamilton tickets have cost). On his last actual tour, tickets were about $150 max for face value. Plus the theater seats less than 1,000 people, so there aren’t many “cheap seats” available for this Broadway show.
