Any more news on the deluxe versions of two of the Alice Cooper Group albums?
School's out for sure.
Last news I have that the release was set for july but it's very very quit.

I think that was July 2017. Maybe you could message DD on FB.

WB was / is still waiting for approval from AC management.

Good to see you still can't follow what's said.

The fact that a company asks for approval on something is often not because they legally have to, but out of courtesy to the artist.

That has nothing to do with Alice being able to decide what to release and what not to release if he doesn't own the rights to the material, which, to the best of my knowledge, is the case on all the material being mentioned.

If we were talking about a deluxe edition of 'Dirty Diamonds' or 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' for example I believe it would be a different situation as Alice DOES own the rights to those. For those he (or his representatives of course) could contact companies to work with as you suggest.

You really should provide sources for your information because I haven't seen that date anywhere and the second part of your post isn't correct to my knowledge either (and bear in mind I had a meeting fairly recently with the gentleman handling the project as I've been working on it). You have to understand that sometimes things just don't happen as quickly as you want.

There has been no official public announcement that I know of but that doesn't prove anything.
