Which three songs?

Ok I'm restless for Sunday's gig! So Alice gets in touch, because your such an avid fan, and asks you to recommend three songs for the uk tour! Two for the main set and one for the ACG to shake it up a bit, three for the die hard fans! Which would you recommend?
Personally I'd go with 'grim facts' and 'scarlet and Sheba' with 'dead babies' for the ACG. but I could change those choices a dozen times over!

Great choices. I'd swap out Scarlet and Sheba for Zorro's Ascent.

Controversial, but I like your thinking!

A couple of nights ago I played RYFAY to two people coming to the gigs. One was my friend who had been a huge Alice fanatic in the seventies and early eighties. Right up to Special Forces! He knows all the WB albums inside out but hadn't heard much of the albums after that. The other person, my partner, is a new convert to Alice, likes some and can take or leave some of it. I explained that RYFAY was a marmite album for fans and revered by many on this forum, especially side two. Anyway I played it for them and to say they thought it was utter garbage would be kind. And to me it is just painful on the ears. But, as I said in an earlier post, it seems to be when you were introduced to Alice as to which of his periods appeals most! Can't argue with luney tunes though!

Wind Up Toy: I'd say this every time I got a chance. The fact that it would fit with the stage setup (toy box) makes it that much better.

Dead Babies: add props, hence why I'm putting this for the usual set.

Luney Tune: Because why not? It would probably fit right in for the ACG set!

For Britain Only segued into Guilty in the obvious place (but could live with Under The Bed or Wind Up Toy or I'm So Angry or Sister Sara or Inmates or King Of The Silver Screen etc etc.... basically ANY song I love that never gets played!)

My Stars - by current band - in place of Halo of Flies - this should have been done by now, they CAN play it. Why not to be played by the original band? Because...

Black Juju (by original band, with Tommy on keyboards if needed)

...you only allowed 1 original band song in the question and I want BOTH! :)

100% agree, Si! Shake it up. Bounce it around a little. Time ain't cheap.

+1 for "My Stars."

So many possibilities....

At the moment I'd agree with Wind Up Toy as it suits what he's doing with the show and would fit well.

Something that would be immense would be Second Coming performed before Dwight Fry as it is on the album.

It would have to be Luney Tune with the original guys.

'For Britain only' Si pulls it out the bag!! I'd agree wind up toy would be perfect, not as good as my choices obviously but still inspired!

Far, far too many for me to try to pick two for the main set, but how about Return Of The Spiders by the original band. 46 years (not quite to the day) since they first played in the UK.

Wind Up Toy for sure! I'd also love Fallen In Love from the new album as it's a belter.

In terms of The Group, it would have to Public Animal #9.

Can we have 1.5 each? Fireball, just thinking that this is the best he has done for 20+ years so I'd have to pick that over all the earlier favourites. Last tune of the main set would see a mood change, low lights, smoke and Titanic Overture played by the new band but half way through the old band picks it up and then slips into My Stars (always in my top 20).

Very much agree with Wind Up Toy...it's such an Alice Cooper track...I've always said I'd love to hear that one live, being too young for the Hey Stoopid tours.

Another one I'd go with that I've never seen live but is one of my favourites (although it does feature on A Fistful of Alice) is Teenage Lament 74'. Love the track.

For the original band group I'd go with Caught In A Dream. Great song that would be a great opener for their mini set...as if to say you've come out of the Nightmare and your now in this mad dream watching the original members strut their stuff...something I thought I'd never see.
