Re: When will there be a Paranormal album review
From AliceFan:
"mestreech, The link doesn't work can you please find another link or fix the link please ?"
Alice will be taking part in a questions and answers session this week at https://www.theguardian.com/culture/liv ... rmal-album so this might be a good time to ask those burning questions about the album (and the content of it rather than worrying about some of the questions that get asked).

Re: When will there be a Paranormal album review
Well, it's more of a promotional soundbite than a proper review, but this is as close to a translation as I could do:
"Surprises are on Alice Cooper's 27th studio album, Paranormal far more than enough. The most important - if not the most sensual - is its consistent rockcoat to the (rock) values of the 70s, when this music experienced its most colorful epoch. As if it had never given bulky-unruly releases such as Brutal Planet or Dragontown, Cooper again ran on all the melodic songs in 2017 without any confused experiments. In doing so, he fires psychedelic spacerock from the imaginary fog machine (Fireballs), makes himself wonderfully funky (Dead Flies), confesses to his Deep Purple roots (Paranormal) and ends the new disc with a song that even Pink Floyd in her blood phase (The Sound of R). Let's take a look at the already mentioned high points: With Roger Glover, Billy Gibbons and Larry Mullen, Jr, Cooper has a lot of well-known guests on board. Bonus CD the promised reunion of the original band. The best of Paranormal however is: There are at least twelve powerful new songs!"
Whoa, that's not too confusing eh?

I tend to believe that all Alice Cooper albums are awesome, and therefore, I am never disappointed. I got 45 years of experience of listening....(mic drop)

Re: When will there be a Paranormal album review
got my copy today of this Classic Rock
they call the new album " a timeless jewel"...(without actually reviewing the album)
furhtermore, this won't be the last studio album 'cause they've written already material for the next one..
there is a little section with a picture of every albumcover and a short comment... (one error : the w2mnm2 cover appears to be the orginal wtmnm cover )

It is THAT good that you don't even need to listen to it. I have not heard it seven times already and it's brilliant.

Re: When will there be a Paranormal album review
Based on what I got from Si's synopsis of the few tracks that they heard, it sounds like Paranormal is a great name for the album, because they were consistently possessed by Alice's friends which led to what sounds like more of an extension of the Hollywood Vampires than anything else. I also like that it has been stated that Alice was in fact saying that the ACG tracks were being written in a Killer vein and not the whole album, but even that seems to be untrue. I will be at the shows, but I think my buying of Alice records are done. Better yet, just record all new albums with the Hollywood Vampires that way I will know not to buy it and continue to tour the hits solo.
