millie and billie question
happy to have found a copy of "from the inside" for $6 at a used cd store as it was one of just a few alice albums I need for my collection...upon listening to "mille and billie" I started wondering about the end of the song-who is the man calling billie at the end of the song supposed to be and what has happened to billie? the sound of a next to the bed medicine drip seems to indicate he is in the hospital....anyone know?
Re: millie and billie question
Well, it's Alice's voice calling for Millie.
I remember reading something about how it's supposed to be Billie being in another room and watching Millie get lobotomized through the window. Hence the buzzing drill/saw sound at the end.
Can't remember where I read it though and if it was just speculation or something Alice actually said about it.

"You, sir, are a demented, sick, degenerate, barbaric, naughty freako."

I love the song
Yes, it is Billie calling to Millie, because she is getting lobotomized.
and, personally, if Lady Gaga performed this song WITH Alice Cooper.....I would just die.
