how do you think alice reacted when he was to sing it?

maybe it was weird that he sings about himself in third person
and do you think there was much debate with ezrin and so on about changing that line/ context of the song?


i just watched the blue coupe acoustic session and thought of this

i personally like the michael bruce perspective it makes you think about the band and bruce in that particular moment but anyway

It would be interesting to find out Alice's reaction to singing that line, and if there was much debate with BE, etc. re. the changes you suggest.

The interesting line for me is "I told her that I came from Detroit city". We all know that Detroit is Alice's home town, so I think it's noteworthy that MB wrote that line which resulted in Alice singing about himself.
