Ive herd so many reasons why the original group broke up. Im sure most of us have on here. But what is the real reason? Could all the reasons given be the answere not just one reason?

In watching documentarys that talk about it, their is something i havent herd for a reason but just sits their like it is the reason. What happened to Glenn? It sounds like he became a syd barrett. Ive often wondered that the group breaking up wasnt a result of what ever happened to Glenn. Ive herd that on B$B he was haveing a hard time and thats where dick wagnor came in and that on tour they had suport guitars for Glenn in the background.

Could the real reason be that if Glenn wasnt their full time it wasnt the real group and that was the underlining reason for the split. The band can hide behind it was the character alice who people wanted to see and use that insted of talking about glenn. Just a thought!

Keith, I assume you haven't read Dennis' book yet? There's a chapter in it entitled 'Breakup' which also provides an explanation.
