I wouldn`t hold what a newspaper says as confirming Depp on an proper AC album.
It sounds more like they are writing for the next Vampires album and the Maui News wouldn`t know the difference.

I fear that this recording will be a rush job. Whether this is about a new AC record, or even if he's talking HV... The album is a lasting document, perhaps even timeless. I hope that they take the time to methodically produce the album(s) in the studio, and not just blast it out and say "done!" We already have the garage sound well documented. Go big or go home, you know what I mean?

Yeah i think the guys are correct that it refers to a HV album rather than AC but i still have fears, hopefully Mr. Ezrin will continue to stear the good ship cooper back into consistent quality after the superb W2MN
