Hi all. I'm meeting Alice for the first time this weekend and I'm planning to show him a trailer for my indie film, Beyond the Dreamcatcher. I'm still tweaking this (I'll probably be tweaking it right up to the day of), but I'm so eager to share it with you all. I'd love to get some feedback from the community.

Disturbing, yet it has all of the elements that make it intriguing! Hope you can make the progression forward to the release. I would buy/go see it.

Unfortunately, they confiscated all cell phones before I had the opportunity, so I went with plan B, which was to pitch him a movie adaptation of Dada while he was signing my vinyl copy of the album. He and Kyler seemed pretty excited about it. I'm seeing again in July with the Hollywood Vamps, so I'll follow up then and give him the treatment.

Funnily enough, I was working on the script for Dada when I shelved it to write Beyond the Dreamcatcher. As a result, I subconsciously put a lot of the Dada themes into Dreamcatcher, so it's kind of the perfect calling card to sell him or anyone on a Dada movie.

ADDED: I also left a business card and a link to the trailer, so hopefully they checked it out.

Thanks for the positive feedback. It's a unique movie experience. It's far from what I envisioned it to be, but I'm pretty proud of it. Not bad for a first feature film made for basically nothing.

Hey all. If anyone is interested, we've launched the Facebook page for Beyond the Dreamcatcher (http://facebook.com/beyondthedreamcatcher) and we've released our first teaser poster.

If you haven't seen it, check out the early trailer in the first post. If the movie sounds interesting to you, please like the FB page and share. My goal is to build a large enough fan base that I can self-distribute it and still make a profit.

If that's not enough of a reason to check it out, one of my next projects is a feature film based on Dada and my plan is to use the success of this movie as a calling card to get Alice involved.
