Re: Which Bowie song?
interesting question. been going through a lot of songs, and indeed, Rebel Rebel would fit his voice ( as not to have to deal with the Wish you were here choice).
Catpeople might do it also, maybe...
imo he should not do a too known hit..

Nah, IMO Cat People is way off Alice's range, interesting though you mention it, Marilyn Manson just did a cover of it with Shooter Jennings.
Maybe We'll see him collaborating with the Vampires for that, after all, Manson is one of the first I could think of when we speak of covering Bowie's songs

Candidate from Diamond Dogs since it is an Election year!
To top it off it's a very guitar driven song.

Cracked Actor would fit the HV theme, plus I can see Alice giving it new life.

I'll end the speculation right now. It will of course be Suffragette City slipping into Under My Wheels.

It's pretty terrible, too, IMO. The vocals aren't too bad, but the music is all wrong---it completely misses the sensuality of Bowie's/Moroder's original movie soundtrack version.Lucius Morthem wrote:Nah, IMO Cat People is way off Alice's range, interesting though you mention it, Marilyn Manson just did a cover of it with Shooter Jennings.

Well, I'm very used to hear Manson growls and I liked them and I've always priorize vocals over music (I'm a singer)
But that's the reason why i like it, I feel them like 2 different songs, the original being very danceable and sensual and the cover extremely dark and kind of scary
