Speculate On Different Songs For The New Tour
And why not. The tour has a new name, so the set list must change a bit, if only by about four songs or so.
Keeping it fairly real and ignoring the temptation to type the usual wish list of stuff that just ain't gonna happen under any circumstances, I wonder what people think may make an appearance. I seem to remember Alice saying the band regularly hassle him to include Yeah Yeah Yeah, so maybe they'll get their way this time. Many like myself would love Luney Tune to finally get an airing and I've seen it claimed that it's been tried out on various tour rehearsals, but it's probably still a forlorn hope.
With the 'spend the night' tag indicating a possible theme of dreams/nightmares again, is there a chance he'll visit two of the better songs off the last album, A Runaway Train & When Hell Comes Home?
Hopefully he won't decide to do a Bowie/Stones tribute by performing Let's Spend The Night Together.

Maybe Dead Babies will return to the set list. It isn't rare song by any means but he hasn't played it in recent years. It would be nice to hear something else from School's Out in addition to the title track. Luney Tune would be great. I think he may choose something a bit more rare from Brutal Planet. Pick Up The Bones would be super cool or maybe It's The Little Things. I would be extremely happy if he performed Nothing's Free or You're My Temptation instead of Lost In America but I don't think it will happen.

Same as it ever was with the odd change. I wouldn't hope for much.

Re: Speculate On Different Songs For The New Tour
I'll stab at 1 new track from the last 4 decades:
1980's - Teenage Frankenstein
1990's - Nothing's Free
2000's - Cold Machines
2010's - Under The Bed
Bugger all chance of that ever happening but it would definitely get a thumbs up from me.

More likely you will be listening to have a cigar
Re: Speculate On Different Songs For The New Tour
I predict a Bowie cover being added to the set list, likely Suffragette City.
Also, since it's an election year in the USA he will probably have Trump fighting Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders during Elected.

Re: Speculate On Different Songs For The New Tour
I am hoping this tour won't have any cover songs since the last one had so many. As far as tunes I would like to hear:
Road Rats
Caught in a Dream-This sounded great during the Brutal Planet Tour
Love's a Loaded Gun or Wind-Up Toy
Freedom
Fantasy Man
The Quiet Room-combine this with Ballad of Dwight Frye
Nothing's Free

With a tour title like "Spend The Night with Alice Cooper"...I think the show will be longer....so I will bring my pajamas and sleeping bag.....maybe only ballads will be done so everyone will have lovely nightmares.
If Alice does any Bowie...it will be a cover of a cover.....Bowie covered The Rolling Stones' "Let's Spend The Night Together" on the Pin Ups album.
This song ties it all together. Mystery solved.

Not that it matters much, but he covered Let's Spend The Night Together on Aladdin Sane.GailsFriend wrote:With a tour title like "Spend The Night with Alice Cooper"...I think the show will be longer....so I will bring my pajamas and sleeping bag.....maybe only ballads will be done so everyone will have lovely nightmares.

I'm gonna guess that he opens up with a recording of The Nightmare Returns and the band jumps in with Runaway Train. Steven and Dead Babies find a spot in the set list too.
Now if it can just happen for real now... and include wind up toy!

Maybe something to do with a Scottish upbringing but I, too, would go with "Grim Facts"- could do a lot with that song I reckon

Re: Speculate On Different Songs For The New Tour
One track I would absolutely love to see live would be 'Wind Up Toy'.
Was only about 4 years old when the Hey Stoopid tour rolled around and this is one of my faves.
Aside from that I'd love to see anything off the Last Temptation album other than 'Lost in America'. That album is genius except for 'Lost in America' which I cannot abide and am still confused as to why it's on the album...completely out of place if you ask me.

Chuck once told me he would like to see Grim Facts included.
I will just be happy with no covers and any song that hasn't been done in the last 5 years.
