Nobody Likes Me

So, there's been two different official CD-releases of Nobody Likes Me, on Life and Crimes and Old School, and both are listed as demos. But it was also released as a single with the Killer tour programme right?
What I'm wondering is which version was released as a single? Was it either of the demos or was it a third version that's never made it onto an official CD-release?

Also: Has there ever been any statements about why it wasn't on PFY or EA?

It was the one on "The Life And Crimes Of Alice Cooper", I think.

Not that I remember, although the version I'm referring to was actually recorded after "Easy Action", apparently.

Looked at Life and Crimes again and it says "Nobody Likes Me" is previously unreleased and recorded in 1968. Is that incorrect?
The Life & Crimes version also sounds a lot tighter and more like a finished recording than the Old School version.

I would need to check but I think so.

Yes, I think it is.

I believe this has been discussed elsewhere in this Forum; yes, I also believe that the version of NLM on 'The Life & Crimes...' box is the same as that included with the Killer Tour program and that this version was likely recorded earlier in 1971, thereby making the box set info. incorrect. The version on the 'Old School' box does sound a lot more like a 1968 recording/demo to me.

From Ted Sallis:
"that this version was likely recorded earlier in 1971,"

The recording was from November of that year while the band were in London and featured a drunk accordion player or something.

The interview at http://www.travellersintime.com/Univers ... rview.html has a reference (from Dennis Dunaway) to this song.
